Hello dear reader:
This is my first post. I’m “brand spanking new” at this blog business. I wrote a book. I think it is a good book and I firmly believe you will enjoy reading it. I taught high school science, mostly physics, at Tomah High School in southwestern Wisconsin. Taught 38.5 years and they were indeed all very good years. I have written a column for the Tomah Journal, a twice weekly local newspaper, for the past 20 years. It is a question and answer column, the questions coming mostly from students in Tomah and surrounding districts. My goal is to use this blog space to promote the book and to post new questions and answers. The book is titled “Ask Your Science Teacher” and it is up on Amazon.com for $14.95. The first question is “Can you drown from drinking too much water?” The last question, number 233 is “If Superman has X-ray vision, why can’t he see through lead?” This book is a fascinating look at the world we live in. The sub title is “Answers to Everyday Questions”.
